Industrial visit of Chemistry students of Trinity College for Women
Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducts an industrial visit and excursion every year for the students to understand the latest tools and technology used in the industry. This industrial visit and study tour will help the students gain practical knowledge. On this subject, the department of Chemistry at Trinity College organized a 2 day industrial visit and excursion on September 22nd and 23rd, 2023, in the places of Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, and Marthandam in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu state, and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala state.
38 students, along with the five faculty members of Chemistry (Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Dr. S. Anidha, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Ms. M. Rineesha, and Mrs. G. Mahesh), have taken part in those industrial visits.
On the first day (22.09.2023), they went to Thiruvananthapuram and looked in at Padmanabhapuram Sri Vishnu temple, Trivandrum Zoo, and Kovalam Beach.
On September 23, 2023 (On the second day), they saw the sun set at Kanyakumari and also visited Vattakottai, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thirparappu Falls, and Thottipalam.
