Industrial visit for the students of English
Industrial visits provide students with the chance and opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. The Department of English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized an industrial visit to Vagamon and Kochi in Kerala state on the date (s) of 08th September 2023 and 09th September 2023. This visit was arranged for the benefit of English students (both UG and PG) of the College. A total of 35 students along with 8 faculty members (Mrs. R. Priyadharshini, Mrs. J. Evangelin, Ms. M. Rekha, Mrs. M. Saranya, Mrs. P. Abirami, Mrs. K. Gowrimala, Mrs. K. Keerthana, Faculty in English and Mrs. V. Archana, Director of Physical Education) of the College.
On the first day (08.09.2023), they visited the tea factory, pine forest, and fire camp in Vagamon in Kerala with the aid of a jeep. On the second day (09.09.2023), they saw various places in Kochi, like Sri Bhagavathi Amman Temple – Chottanikkara, Hill Palace, Museum, vypin beach, lulu mall and they also rided in boats.
