Awareness Programme on Food Safety
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an introductory session titled “Food safety and quality training programmes” on 13th August 2024 in the college campus. Mr. S. Abubakker Siddiq, Food Safety Consultant, SAS Micro Food Safety Consulting Services, Maduravoyal, Chennai was the resource person.
He elucidated the significance of healthy food for a healthy life for students. Healthy food gives us good health, protects against chronic disease, supports muscles, boosts immunity, strengthens our bones, and keeps our skin, teeth and eyes healthy, he also pointed out.
Mrs. R. Rupa, Assistant Professor and Head, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi and Mrs. R. Vanitha, Assistant Professors in Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal made arrangements.
All the students of Nutrition and Dietetics have actively taken part.
