Namakkal Marathon – 22.01.2023
The Department of Police, Namakkal district in association with Dot Berrys, Sri Lakshmi Doors & Lights and Sri Lakshmi Tiles Mart, Sellappampatti, Namakkal organized a programme entitled “Our Namakkal Marathon” (நம்ம நாமக்கல் மாரத்தான்) on 22nd January 2023. This programme was inaugurated by Mr. C. Kalaichelvan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District. The aim of the marathon “Run for Drug free Namakkal – Today’s students will create tomorrow’s drug free society”.
The 5 km marathon started from the Municipal Office, Namakkal and ended in the Office of Superintendent of Police, Namakkal (via – Pillaiyar Temple, Nallipalayam Bus Stop & Collector Office, Namakkal).
The 3 km marathon commenced from the office of Superintendent of Police, Namakkal and reached the Namakkal Superintendent Police Office (Via – Namakkal Government Medical College Roundana).
The 2 km marathon began from the SP Office, Namakkal and it arrived in Namakkal SP Office (via – Nallipalayam police station).

Apart from that Mrs. V. Archana, Directress of Physical Education, Mrs. S. Priya, Assistant Professor in Computer Science, Mrs. M. Ramya, Assistant Professor in Commerce and Mrs. V. Gayathri, Computer Instructor of the College participated in that marathon event.
On this subject, the felicitation function was held on 24.01.2023. Mr. P.K. Sengodan, Chairman, Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary, Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, Mrs. R. Navamani, AP & HOD of UG CS and BCA, Dr. M.Sasikala, AP & HOD of Commerce and Dr. P. Saranya, AP & HOD of Mathematics and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer conveyed greetings to all the participants.
