Women Entrepreneurship Programme through Alumni of our College
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell, in association with the Alumni Forum and in support of the department of Mathematics of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a women’s entrepreneur event titled “Beneficiary success of digital E-seva initiative” on 21.07.2023. It was held on the premises of Science block – ICT Hall.
Mrs. S. Priya, Alumni (B.Sc., Mathematics – 2017-2020 batch and M.Sc., Mathematics – 2020-2022) & Proprietor, Priya Online Services and Xerox, (Tamil Nadu E-Governance Agency, Department of Information Technology and Digital Services), Gandhipuram, Sendamangalam, Namakkal district was the special invitee.
Because of women’s entrepreneurship, women earn good respect in society apart from their home. All women should stand on their own feet. Due to the inception of online digital services in government sectors, electronic services are becoming more important for government schemes. All the females who participate in this programme are asked by you not only to be a homemaker, you have to create an entrepreneur or start up a new venture, she denoted.
The faculty of Mathematics Mrs. B. Lena, Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Mrs. V. Gokila, Mrs. S. Madhukaraveni, Mrs. M. Nandhini, Mrs. A. Thenmozhi and Dr. S. Revathy also took part in that programme.
