Latha (UBA Representative of Parali village), Mrs. D. Prabha (UBA Representative of Tholur village), and Mrs. S. Hemalatha, Coordinator, UBA Cell, interacted with the concerned presidents of the village

The grama sabha meeting in the village panchayat was held across Tamil Nadu state on October 2, 2023 (the birth anniversary of Gandhiji) under the theme “Everything for Everyone.” 

It aims for inclusive, accountable, and people-centric local administration. On this subject, UBA adopted village representatives (Vagurampatti, Aniyapuram, Parali, Tholur, and Pettapalayam in Namakkal District) along with the few students of the college who attended that Grama Sabha Meeting. The presidents of the villages highlighted the various welfare schemes of governments (both central and state governments). Also, they elucidated awareness to prevent dengue, rainwater harvesting, and precautionary measures for the north-east monsoon.
