Awareness Programme on “POSHACT 2013”.
M/s. The Internal Complaints Committee of Periyar University, Salem, organised an awareness session for faculty, research scholars, and students of university departments, the Periyar University Postgraduate and Research Centre, and the affiliated colleges on December 21, 2023, at 2 p.m., held in the senate hall of Periyar University, Salem.
The purpose of the programme was to acquaint all the participants with POSH rules and raise awareness about harassment at the workplace to build a culture of mutual respect and equal opportunity.
Ms. V. Poongodi, Advocate, Salem, and Dr. T. Poongodi Vijayakumar, Director in Charge of the UGC-funded Women’s Studies Centre and Professor and Head, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Periyar University, Salem, delivered on the topic “POSHACT 2013″ .
In this regard, on behalf of the Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, Assistant Professor in Physics, took part in that awareness programme.
