The Periyar University, Salem, in association with the Salem Chapter of ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India), conducted a one-day program titled “Teachers’ Conference 2024” on the theme of “Empowering Educators” on October 22, 2024, held at Senate Hall, Periyar University, Salem.
Prof. Dr. R. Jagannathan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Periyar University, Salem, inaugurated the program. Dr. K. Krishnakumar, Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, Periyar University, Salem, welcomed the gathering.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Salem chapter, CS Poornima N.S. Chairperson, CS Harish, M. Secretary, and CS Thulasiraman T, Past Chairman, CS Asifa J, Manager Committee Member, CS Saranya G, Practising Company Secretary, Registered Trade Mark Agent & Qualified Independent Director and JFF Rajeswari Venkatarama, National Trainer-NLP Practioner, spoke on that occasion.
They discussed the various topics related to company secretaries, viz., introduction to the company secretary course, opportunities for company secretaries, sessions on work-life balance, etc
Dr. K. Jayaraman, Associate Professor in Economics, Periyar University, Salem, delivered the valedictory address. On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Mrs. G. Nithya, Assistant Professor in Commerce, participated in that one-day program. She is congratulated.
