Programme on EDC
The post-graduate and research department of Commerce, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an online workshop titled “Prototype/Process Design and Development” on 17th March 2025.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal welcomed the gathering. Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator – Silver Jubilee Celebrations offered the felicitation address.
The resource person was introduced by Mrs. G. Nithya, Assistant Professor in Commerce/ Coordinator – Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
Dr. R. Anandaraman, Assistant Professor and Research Supervisor, Dr. R.K. Shanmugam College of Arts and Science, Indili, Kallakurichi was the resource person.
The resource person highlighted the development of prototypes with the help of innovative product ideas. Also, he focused on the funding support available for the growth of the prototype and the commercial products. Apart from that, he gave a few examples to show the innovative products. Finally, he explained the significance of intellectual property rights, royalty, copyrights, patent rights, etc.,
Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi, Assistant Professor in Commerce/Coordinator – Viksit Bharat Cell @ 2047 proposed the vote of thanks. Nearly 100 students benefited through that programme.
