Seminar on “Empowering Innovation: Nanomaterials role in Modern Technology”
The Post Graduate Department of Physics and in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a one day seminar entitled “Empowering Innovation: Nanomaterials role in Modern Technology” on 25th August 2023 in the College campus.
In this regard, Dr. M. Malarvizhi, Assistant Professor in Physics, K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology (Autonomous), Tiruchengode, Namakkal District was the resource person.
Innovation is needed for all the fields. Today, IT – Information Technology, BT – Biotechnology and NT – Nanotechnology are occupied in our society. Nano Technology has been developed in many areas. It is a vast field. Every student of Physics is ready to read the special course related to Nano. Opportunities are unlimited for Nano Science subject experts, she said. Also, she highlighted the various applications in the fields of Nanotechnology viz, information technology, biotechnology, food safety, medicine, agriculture, transportation, energy, environmental science and so on.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, presided over the programme.
Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic offered his felicitation address.
The chief guest was introduced by Dr. B. Lakshmi, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Physics, the faculty members of Physics Mrs. B. Kavitha, Dr. R. Sakunthaladevi, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya., Mrs. K. Akila, Mrs. V. Kalaivani and Ms. K. Saranya also present.
More than 100 Physics students took part.
