National Level Conference on “Recent Trends in Applications of Differential Equations in Mathematical Modeling
The Postgraduate Department of Mathematics at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a national-level conference titled “Recent Trends in Applications of Differential Equations in Mathematical Modeling” on September, 22, 2023 on the college campus. Dr. Ramasamy Subramaniyam, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Madanappalle, Annamayya District, Andhrapradesh State, and Dr. K. Janagi, Assistant Professor (SI.G.). The Department of Mathematics, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Neelambur, Coimbatore, and Tamil Nadu State were the special invitees. A differential equation is a mathematical equation that involves one or more functions and their derivatives. It is mainly used in the areas of physics, engineering, biology, and other fields, they said. Also, they explained the various mathematical subjects like algebra, integral calculus, set theory, numerical methods, fuzzy logic, probability, and stochastic processes. Mr. D. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal; Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director-Academic, the Faculty of Mathematics Mrs. B. Lena, Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Mrs. V. Gokila, Mrs. S. Madhukaraveni, Mrs. P. Karethikeyani, Mrs. M. Nandhini, Mrs. A. Thenmozhi, Dr. S. Revathy, and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer of the College, made arrangements. Nearly 500 students took part.
