Entrepreneurship Development Programme
The PU-IEDP-HUB (Periyar University Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Programme-HUB), Salem, and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, jointly conducted an event on
“Sweet and Sour: Experiences in My Life through Textile Entrepreneurship” on Thursday, December 14, 2023, on our college campus.
Mr. Ramadas Manokaran, Textile Entrepreneur, Chinnalapatti, Dindigul District, was the invited speaker.
Next to agriculture, a greater number of employees are working in the textiles sector. Food, clothing, and shelter are the basic needs of all human beings. Textiles are always in demand. If we produce quality textile products, we can easily sell them to customers. If you are an entrepreneur, you can give more employment to others, he said.
This programme was arranged by Mrs. G. Nithya, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the College.
