The Salem District Fencing Association (Affiliated with the Fencing Association of Tamil Nadu, Ad-Hoc Committee, and Fencing Association of India) conducted a Tamil Nadu state junior state fencing championship (2023–24) held in the premises of Sona College of Technology, Salem, on December 11 and 12, 2023.
Ms. D. Manju, first year B.Sc., Nutrition and Dietetics, and Ms. C. Preethi, first year B.A., English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, have actively taken part, and they secured second place (Sabre Position).
In this continuation, a felicitation function was held on February 12, 2024, on the college campus. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director; Dr. M. R.
