Program on UMIS
The University Management Information System is an innovative initiative spearheaded by the Tamil Nadu E-Governance Agency. It serves as a centralized portal, seamlessly collecting and storing comprehensive students’ data from all educational institutions all over Tamil Nadu state.
On this subject, The Student’s Welfare Cell, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Institution Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a program titled “A Brief Summary of UMIS” (University Management and Information System) on July 19, 2024, in the College seminar Hall. Dr. S. Anidha, NODAL Officer; Dr. C. Gobiya and Mrs. S. Madhukaraveni, Coordinators, Pudumai Pen; and Dr. K. Gowrimala, Coordinator, UMIS, Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal, were the speakers of that program.
The speakers above briefly explained the objectives, importance, benefits, registration process, UMIS (user ID), password, and role of faculty members in uploading the student’s documents. All the class incharges of the various departments took part.
