Republic Day Celebrations – 26th January 2023.
The Trinity College for Women, Namakkal has celebrated the 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023 with patriotic fervor and zeal.
Mr. P.K. Sengodan, Chairman of the College (He was born before India’s independence – 1939) hoisted the national flag. He received the guard of honour from the volunteers of NSS, YRC and RRC. He exhorted students not to forget the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
Even though our country’s natural resources were looted by the Britishmen when they ruled our country, the people of our country are leading the world today because of their strength and ability, Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary of the College said proudly.
Skill and talent will always lift the development and growth of every student of our College. Hard work never fails. Students should be focus on future advancement only, not committed in social websites, Mr. P. Palanisamy, President of Trinity International School pointed out in his speech.
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, Dr. R. Savithri, YRC Programme Officer, Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Adjacent of YRC, Dr. M. Sasikala & Mrs. S. Jayamathi, NSS Programme Officers, Mrs. V. Archana, Directress of Physical Education and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer also took part in that republic day celebrations. All the faculty members and the students of our College attended that flag hoisting ceremony. This programme was organized by the National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
