The Yoga and Meditation Club, in support of the department of physical education at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a one-day workshop entitled “Cardio Exercise: Essentials and Benefits” on August 12, 2023. Mrs. V. Archana, Director of Physical Education, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person.

Cardiac exercise focuses mainly on breathing practices, stretching relaxation, stress reduction, and body awareness techniques, she said.

She indicated that cardio exercise helps us in many ways, such as stress relief, improving our strength, and weight loss.  All the faculty of the College have enthusiastically participated in that cardio exercise.
