Best wishes to Mrs. R. Vanitha
Under the scheme of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Office of Child Development Service, Kolli Hills, Namakkal District, a one-day programme titled “Nutritional Hygiene and Sanitation Programme for Adolescents” was held on 26th December in Semmedu Village, Kolli Hills Taluk, Namakkal District.
In this regard, Mrs. R. Vanitha, Assistant Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.
Mrs. R. Vanitha stressed a few aspects, like a balanced diet for adolescent age group girls, to maintain their bodies healthy on a daily basis. Apart from that, she spoke about hygiene and the significance of it as a girl child, especially during their menstruation.
More women in and around Semmedu Village, Kolli Hills Panchayat Union, Namakkal District benefited through that programme.
