Best wishes to Ms. P. Sabitha
Due to the celebration of International Wild Life Week (October 2–8), the district forest office, Namakkal, organized a one day district-level speech, essay writing, and drawing competition on October 05, 2024 for the benefit of students of school, college and the physically handicapped, on the campus of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Mohanur Road, Namakkal. Many students from various educational institutions in and around Namakkal District have actively taken part.
The title of the competition – Wetlands (ஈர நிலங்கள்)
Ms. P. Sabitha, final year B.Sc., Mathematics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, has obtained the third prize in that essay writing competition.
In this regard, Dr. S. Uma, IAS, District Collector, Namakkal, Mr. S. Rajesh Kannan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District and Mr. S. Kalanithi, IFS, District Forest Officer, Namakkal and other Government Officials took part and conveyed their best wishes to Ms. P. Sabitha.
In this continuation, a felicitation function was held on 09th December 2024 in the College premises.
The prize winner Ms. P. Sabitha was greeted by Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuaparameswaran, Coordinator – Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Dr. B. Lena, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Assistant Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics & Caretaker for the above said students.
